BOETC organizes protest, demands resignations of Minister Atanas Ilkov and Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev

BOETC – Bulgaria United with One Goal organizes a protest demanding the resignations of Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and Minister of Interior Atanas Ilkov . According to the organization, only in this way the early parliamentary elections will be fair.

“BOETC calls on the political parties to support the protest, call an emergency session of parliament immediately and demand and receive the resignation of Minister Atanas Ilkov. This is a test for the parties if they are really for fair elections. If they condescend, then their talk about how they are fighting against the bought vote is just empty words and dust in the eyes of the people” , said the association.

BOETC calls on all civil society organizations to join the protest , stressing that this is a test for them as well. The BOETC also urged:

“And from now on we say – if by Tuesday, 22 October 2024, at 18:00, Minister Ilkov is not replaced, we must all gather in front of the Interior Ministry and demand his resignation! /…/ On Tuesday we will gather to tear down the umbrella of the Interior Ministry!”
